Terms of Use
Wordilizer provides word-search and language tools for informational and entertainment purposes.
1. Using the service
You may use Wordilizer for personal, educational, editorial, and other lawful purposes. You must not disrupt the service, bypass technical limits, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, or use automated requests in a way that impairs availability for others.
2. Word results and game eligibility
Results are generated from a general English word list that includes uncommon, historical, regional, inflected, and specialist vocabulary. Wordilizer does not guarantee that a result is complete, current, correctly defined, or accepted by Scrabble, a crossword publisher, a school, a tournament, or any official dictionary.
Wordilizer is not affiliated with or endorsed by Scrabble, Hasbro, Mattel, crossword publishers, or dictionary publishers. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners.
3. No professional advice or warranty
The service and its results are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Wordilizer gives no warranty of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or completeness.
4. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on Wordilizer. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
5. API and automated access
The search endpoint supports the Wordilizer interface and is not currently offered as a guaranteed public API. Automated collection, scraping, excessive querying, resale, or circumvention of rate or result limits requires prior written permission. Access may be limited or blocked to protect the service.
6. Intellectual property
The Wordilizer name, interface, explanatory content, and original software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The underlying word-list package is used under its own MIT License and is acknowledged on the Credits page.
7. Changes and availability
Tools, results, limits, advertising, and these terms may change. Features may be suspended or discontinued where reasonably necessary. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the substantive laws of Switzerland, subject to mandatory consumer-protection and jurisdiction rules that apply to you.
